What they cover
Background
A plain NYC guide to what you can’t put into full-service storage, what stores just fine (including climate-sensitive items), and the honest truth about insurance if something is ever damaged or lost.
There’s no single best way to store your things in NYC, just the one that fits you. Here’s an honest look at full-service, self-storage, and portable containers: what each costs, who hauls, and who each is right for.
Heading home for the summer and out of your dorm? Here’s where your things can go until fall: Boxify picks them up, stores them climate-controlled, and brings them back at move-in, with no minimum term.
Storage that comes to you, explained step by step: how Boxify picks up your things, keeps them climate-controlled, and redelivers them, usually within 24 to 48 hours, so you never rent or visit a storage unit.
Ready to book full-service storage in NYC? Here’s exactly how it works with Boxify: request a free, upfront quote by phone, online, or in person; valet pickup comes to you; and your things come back when you need them.
Your old lease is up but the new place isn’t ready yet. Here’s how short-term, no-minimum-term valet storage bridges the between-leases gap (one pickup, held safely, redelivered when you’re ready) without moving everything twice.
Packing for storage is a different skill than packing for a move, because your things sit still for months. Here’s how to pack a storage unit safely and without wasting an inch.
When your NYC apartment runs out of room, the answer isn’t to toss everything. Here’s how to decide what to store and what to keep, room by room, with valet storage that picks it all up for you.
The honest cost picture: full-service storage in NYC is priced by your plan and quoted free and upfront, a self-storage unit’s sticker rate isn’t its true cost, and here’s how to get your own real number.
